1. Data Controller
Faultline Security, based in Portugal (EU). Contact: privacy@faultlinesec.com
2. Data We Collect
When you submit the contact form, we collect: your name, email address, company name, optional website URL, service interest, and optional message. This data is sent to us via email and is not stored in a database.
3. Purpose and Legal Basis
We process this data to respond to your inquiry (GDPR Article 6(1)(b), pre-contractual measures). We do not use your data for marketing unless you explicitly opt in.
4. Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained in our email inbox for up to 12 months after the last interaction. After that, they are deleted.
5. Third-Party Processors
We use the following GDPR-compliant processors. No data is sold to third parties.
- Resend (resend.com) — email delivery for form submissions and newsletters.
- Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and bot protection.
- PostHog(PostHog, hosted in the EU): privacy-friendly product analytics used to understand how visitors find and use the site. No advertising or cross-site tracking is used, and you can opt out at any time via the cookie banner. PostHog's privacy policy is available at posthog.com/privacy.
6. Cookies and Tracking
This site uses PostHog (EU Cloud) to understand how visitors interact with our pages and forms. Analytics are enabled by default. The cookie banner lets you opt out: click Reject and we stop collecting analytics events and set a preference so we do not collect them on future visits. We do not use analytics for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies and data in your browser, which brings the banner back.
Cloudflare may set minimal security-related cookies (e.g., __cf_bm) for bot protection.
7. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@faultlinesec.com.
